How Long Does it Take to Get Your Bond Back?

How Long Does it Take to Get Your Bond Back?

At the end of the tenancy, both landlords and tenants need to complete the bond refund form and send it to Tenancy Services.

The bond refund form can be found under the Bonds section of the tenancy on myRent. The form can be completed by a landlord and tenants and automatically sent to Tenancy Services for processing.

Once the Tenancy Services received a fully-signed bond refund form, it usually takes 5 working days to refund a bond.

If more information is required from either party, Tenancy Services will get in touch by phone, email or letter.

@Aroha Normally bond refunds take about 5 working days to process. Because it felt into the holiday period, you're more likely to hear from the Tenancy Services team second week of January.
