Maintenance you control
Maintenance is the number one frustration for landlords and tenants. myRent provides the information for you to make the decisions and manage repairs from anywhere, while making sure everyone is up-to-date
Simple maintenance tracking
Tenants (or you) log maintenance issues online with a description and photos and/or video. This provides an accurate record of the issue and usually enough information for you or your tradesmen to work out what needs to be done.
You make the decision
Fix it yourself, use your tradesmen or use one of our recommended tradesmen, the choice is up to you. Don’t let your property manager waste your money on poor maintenance solutions.
Share the details with your tradesmen
Email a complete summary (including photos, videos, documents and notes) to any tradesmen. This usually provides enough information on how the problem should be fixed. Possibly saving you a call out fee.
Clear communication throughout
No more back and forth emails, phone calls and messages. Receive detailed maintenance alerts directly from tenants and update them easily about the status of repairs and tradesman visits. Clear communication reduces frustrations.
Don't have your own tradesmen?
Don’t worry we can help. With NoCowboys and Builderscrack we can introduce you to local tradesmen with ratings and reviews of their work.

Absolutely not, we are not tradesmen and we don’t do the repairs, so we don’t deserve to be paid. However online maintenance issue tracking is included in the 1% + GST management fee.
Absolutely, whenever maintenance issues are part of a tribunal proceedings there is always a lack of evidence as a lot of the communication is phone calls and in person. Having a full record provides protection and shows you are a good landlord and approached things correctly.
Of course, how you deal with each maintenance issue is up to you. If you are an overseas landlord then just forward them all to your handyman to deal with but if you are handy yourself then save yourself the expense and fix it yourself.
