How to change the first rent in advance date

While this is usually set up when the tenancy agreement is created, changes can still be made afterwards.

When creating your tenancy agreement, the first rent payment due date will be in the term, rent and bond section.

To adjust the first rent due amount after the tenancy agreement is created, please follow the below steps.

Step 1: Go to your Rent settings. Please see this post here to learn how to access your rent settings.

Step 2: Click on First rent-due date and amount

Step 3: Make the required changes by clicking on Edit next to each section, adding the new amount and/or date and clicking Save.

The rent statement will be updated to reflect this.

Step 4: As this is a change to the agreement, the tenancy agreement will need to be regenerated and signed by all parties again.
