If you're using our management product, you may want to upload some documents, receipts or images for "your eyes only". This can be done under the Private Notes section.

Record keeping is very important in property management. It's a good habit to keep all necessary documents in one place and easily accessible if and when you need them. We also understand that not all the documents should be shared with your tenants. For this purpose, we've created a section in your tenancy called Private Notes.

You will have two options there:

  1. To save documents and notes related to the current tenancy
  2. To save documents and notes related to the existing property

Image Description

When saving documents to the tenancy, these documents can only be accessed and viewed by you and other co-landlords on your portfolio. They will remain in this tenancy even after it ends or is archived.

Examples of documents best suited to this: tenant communication, notes on cash payments received from tenants, dispute notes, and maintenance issue quotes.

When saving documents related to the property, these documents can only be accessed and viewed by you and other co-landlords on your portfolio. We will also copy these documents to all the future tenancies in the same property, so they can always be easily accessed.

Examples of documents best suited to this: Healthy homes compliant documents, mortgage papers, insurance statements.
