As your tenancy has already been scheduled to end in myRent, you would need to remove the existing notice, which will allow you to reschedule the end of the tenancy.

The existing end of tenancy notice can be removed and rescheduled by following the steps below:

Step 1: Go into your chosen tenancy

Step 2: Go to Settings

Step 3: Select End tenancy

Step 4: Select the Bin Icon next to the existing End tenancy notice and select Ok to proceed with deleting this notice

Step 5: There will now be a pop up that confirms your current end date and you can click on the blue reset the end date link in order to remove the existing date.

Step 6: Choose your required option

  • Serve end tenancy notice

Generate and e-sign an end tenancy notice. This notice will be sent to all parties of the tenancy.

Check through the guide about ending the tenancy and then select the reason and the date before continuing through to e-signing and generating the document.

(The date will default to take into account the minimum notice required)

  • Notice has already been served

If you or your tenants have already served a notice to end your tenancy or it is ending by mutual consent, you can update the end date of your tenancy.

Choose your tenancy end date, upload a copy of the notice (can be uploaded later), add a reason for ending of the tenancy (optional) and then select Update to finalise this

  • Tenancy no longer ending (no further action required)

Step 7: Go to your Tenancy overview and you will see the timeline updated with your end date.
