Get to know myRent with a quick overview video:

What happens to my listing once it is removed?

Congrats on finding a tenant! You have successfully marked your property as rented. Your ads will come down from the property sites later today.

Keeping records

Landlords are now required to keep more thorough records, including a copy of the original advert. We have generated a PDF snapshot of your listing, which we will store and you can always access from your myRent account. Just head to your Archive and select your listing.

Re-listing your property

Your listing information and photos are retained on myRent, should you wish to advertise again in the future. So the process of creating a listing again is very easy.

Retaining applicant information and applications

In accordance with the Privacy Act 2020, we'll continue storing the applications provided by applicants you have accepted and shortlisted. All other applications will be removed from myRent within 28 days of your listing being marked as rented. We will still retain each lead's name, contact details, notes, and message history.
