This house is a small, open-plan 50s-style.
Two smallish double bedrooms and one single. Only one has a built-in wardrobe.
The kitchen is large, modern, bright and airy but the lounge is small. It has a heatpump and thermal curtains and a tiny deck off the ranch sliders.
It is carpet in the bedrooms & hallway with polished wooden floors elsewhere.
The bathroom is modern and a good size with separate shower, bathtub, toilet & vanity. Separate laundry.
The HWC is energy-saving as it uses heatpump technology to heat the water.
There is a double garage with automatic opener, a workbench at one end and lots of windows.
It’s on a quiet back section with a shared driveway.
The section is large, with grassed areas, cactus specimen gardens, an artificial turf area and a couple of large concrete pads that you could probably set up with a sand pit/play house/hop scotch or four square/container gardens etc. I wouldn’t call it low maintenance and is more suited to those who are interested in outdoor living and/or gardening.
Open to animals but older ones, as it’s puppies and kittens that do the damage. The agreed-to pets would form part of the tenancy agreement and any new ones would have to be approved by me. The neighbour’s dog sometimes roams the shared driveway.
It has been on Airbnb for a couple of years and I am pulling it off soon. Around the time that the new tenants will be moving in, another house will be relocated onto the vacant land beside it. I will be in the relocated house, renovating it, for at least a few months. While I absolutely will respect my tenants’ right to privacy, if you’re problematic neighbours, this won’t be the place for you.
