Welcome to our fully furnished homestay, bathed in sun, situated on our beautiful south coast. Elevated with great views, and thanks to the Pohutakawa trees, the property is sheltered, yet enjoys the close proximity to Lyall Bay's great beach. The city and hospital are just 10 minute drive and Kilbirnie's shopping centre, restaurants, excellent cafes and galleries are all within easy walking distance from the property.

We initially offer a minimum 1 month up to 6 months rental term. If you should wish to stay longer, then we may well be in a position to accommodate you longer.

The property is fully furnished and double glazed, featuring a very large, comfortable lounge/diner, two double bedrooms, and one bathroom, with a very spacious shower. All linen is included and a plentiful supply of winter firewood will keep you toasty and warm. Garden maintenance is also included. The washing machine and dryer reside in the basement, and for your convenience we have a secure storage room on the lower level of the property for extras items. The cleaning fee payable on your departure is $300.00.

Our spacious deck overlooks the ocean and offers a perfect place for outdoor relaxing and dining. The upper, rather rustic landing has more expansive bay views out to Pencarrow Heads and beyond.

Lyall Bay and the south coast have a progressive, safe and friendly vibe, with an abundance of healthy living options. It is a popular haven for water sports with the bay boasting a world class surf break and a safe swimming beach. There are extensive coastal bike lanes and walkways to enjoy, and a golf course nearby. Lord of the Rings fans and film buffs - you too will enjoy the nearby Weta Workshop and may even find Gollum there!
