Welcome to our fully furnished sunny homestay situated on Wellington's beautiful south coast. The property is elevated and sheltered behind the Pohutukawa trees, offering lovely sea views while also enjoying the close proximity to Lyall Bay beach and the local hospitality. The city and hospital are just 10 minutes away with Kilbirnie Shopping centre, excellent coastal restaurants, cafes, bars and galleries all within easy walking distance.

We initially offer a minimum 1 to 3 months rental term. If you should wish for a longer tenancy then we are more than happy to discuss that. Included in the rent is the power capped at $200.00 per month, a generous supply of winter firewood, extra fast WIFI and all garden maintenance.

The property is soaked in sun and double glazed. The kitchen flows into a large and comfortable lounge/diner, alongside two double bedrooms and one bathroom. The spacious deck overlooks the ocean and offers a perfect place for outdoor relaxing and dining. The upper, and rustic landing, has expansive views out to the Airport and Pencarrow Heads.

For your convenience we offer a secure storage room on the lower level for those items not so regularly used. The washing machine and dryer reside in the basement.

Lyall Bay and the south coast have a progressive, safe and friendly vibe with an abundance of healthy living options. It is a popular haven for water sports with the bay boasting a world class surf break and a safe swimming beach. There are extensive coastal bike lanes and walkways to enjoy and a golf course nearby. Lord of the Rings fans and film buffs - you too will enjoy the nearby Weta Workshop - you may even find Gollum there!
