My sunny and private apartment will be available for short term rental from 14 November 2020. Given the currently changing landscape, I am presently only able to commit to a maximum three month contract with a month being the minimum rental period. Once the three month lease expires I would be happy to consider further extending the lease if required.
'Conifer House' is a fully furnished apartment which has been a very successful homestay for the last three years. I have tenants in place for the next three months and have halved the rent since the pandemic.
The apartment shares 3,000 sqm of land with 3 other apartments, each enjoying its own balcony and private established garden. Elevated in position, the apartment offers all day sun and lovely views over native bush and the Eastern hills towards the City. With continuous birdsong, it is a peaceful and tranquil setting, yet right on the fringe of our vibrant, bustling city.
The apartment has open plan kitchen, dining and living. There are two bedrooms - one double with a queen bed and built-in wardrobe and the other a single room with two king single beds. The bathroom includes a shower over the bath and a small laundry with washing machine and tub. The kitchen is well designed for cooking enthusiasts with all the mod cons, including a Westinghouse oven, dishwasher, microwave and a Breville Coffee Machine.
Conifer House is located within walking distance to the City via the 'City to Sea Walkway' at the end of Whaui Street, with Newtown and Brooklyn, shops, cafes, cinemas and restaurants all close by. The dairy/takeaway is a two minute walk from the bottom of the garden and the children's park on McColl Street is just around the corner. Parking along Whaui Street is usually available directly outside the property or very close to our zigzag pathway which is safe and conveniently lit up in the evenings by solar and sensor lights.
The apartment is ‘fully furnished with WIFI. The power is included but capped at $200 per month.
