Bridge the winter in a spacious, purpose built log studio with 'living' roof set in the gardens of one of Nelson's heritage villas in an upmarket area close to the Grampian walkway, the Queen's Gardens, and the best of Nelson's restaurants and cafes. Double glazed, slightly tinted windows and glass doors create an intimate connection with the gardens. The living area has under floor heating and a small log burner. A few steps up is a sleeping area with one queen and one single Japanese futon.
The other studio is also open plan but is situated on the ground floor of the main house. North facing stained glass windows guarantee a lot of natural light. The lounge area opens up to a sheltered, private terrace. Greens and herbs from our gardens are organically grown and for shared use. You're welcome to create your own patch if you like. All water on the property is filtered. Electricity is metered but when usage stays within reasonable bounds there will be no other costs than the weekly rent.
Both studios have the privacy, the furniture and surrounds that will appeal to someone who appreciates a sense of home, and doesn't want to be tied down to agency contracts. So if you are looking for an attractive yet short term rental, and a nice & quality base for the next few months, do get in touch.
IMPORTANT NOTE: the cottage will be free from halfway October to halfway November. The other studio has limited options. So if you are looking for a longer term rental, it is best to try elsewhere. However, if you would also be open to staying here for just a few weeks to a month, I am happy to assist and offer you a place that is nice and still more economical than a motel or Air B&B.
