101 Raurimu Road is located beside the world famous Raurimu Spiral, an amazing engineering icon that provides much of the history of the village of Raurimu, at the same time convenient for exploring the Tongariro National Park and Mount Ruapehu ski fields in winter, and in the summer cycling or trekking locally or visiting Mount Ngarauhoe (Mount Doom in the Lord of the Rings films) and the famous Tongariro crossing.
