Short term rental (3 months initially) for an old - but cute - little Waterview house, with a nice front yard and a small back yard that is really close to Unitec and the waterfall bush walk, and just 15 minutes drive from the Viaduct basin. (Bus stop is 1min away and 30min to the city, or 35min via bicycle.) Discounted rate - as it is on the market - but Waterview is a great area walking distance from Unitec, the beach at Point Chevalier, and a short 30min drive to the surf beaches out west - and conveniently located a short distance from central Auckland. The house is comfortable and although it is basic, it has everything needed for a lovely place to live - with insulation and heaters for winter (the fireplace is not operational), a nice front and back yard, and lots of windows and a fan for the warm summer days. Unfurnished if preferred. (There is also an option to be partially furnished with one couch, electric stove/oven in the kitchen, washing machine, clothes dryer, fridge/freezer, dehumidifier - please advise if this is preferable. And please note that although the photos show two beds and two couches, but these aren't available unfortunately). Please note, the rent is for the use of two bedrooms so if a third room is to be used as a bedroom, we'd need to discuss the rate. Please check start date - as it's in the future.
