An old - but cute - little Waterview house, with a nice front yard and a small back yard that is really close to Unitec and the waterfall bush walk, and just 15 minutes drive from the Viaduct basin. (Bus in 30min, about the same via bicycle.) Waterview is a lovely area walking distance from the beach at Point Chevalier, a short 30min drive to the surf beaches out west - and conveniently located a short distance from central Auckland. The house is comfortable and although it is basic, it has everything needed for a lovely place to live - with insulation and heaters for winter (the fireplace is not operational) and lots of windows and a fan for the warm summer days. Can be available unfurnished if preferred. (There is also an option to be furnished as it is with two queen beds, electric stove/oven in the kitchen, washing machine, clothes dryer, fridge/freezer, dehumidifier, fan and heater - please advise if this is preferable.) Please note, the rent is for the use of two bedrooms so if a third room is to be used as a bedroom, we'd need to discuss the rate.
