This grass-roofed log home is situated in the private gardens of one of Nelson's heritage villas. There are two separate studios in fact (the other approx. $375 pw) but the one we are making available at the moment is this cottage.

The cottage features double glazing, underfloor heating and a cozy log burner. There's plenty of wood in storage to get through the coming months.

It's a spacious, self-contained and very privately located little house, ideal for someone who temporarily works or studies here and doesn't want to tie him/herself down to agency contracts. Greens and herbs from our gardens are organically grown and for shared use. All water on the property is filtered. Electricity is metered but when usage stays within reasonable parameters there will be no other costs than this weekly rent.

Terms with regards to length of stay can be discussed. A minimum of two or three months is what we would prefer. Over the summer we expect to get tourists staying so be aware that what we're offering is an attractive yet short term rental.
