I am returning overseas in mid to late October and seeking responsible, long-term tenants for my property which is located on a quiet street in Paraparaumu. It isW approximately 800m from Paraparaumu train station. The nearest bus stop is about 200m away. There are two primary schools, one pre-school and a dairy within easy walking distance. Coastlands mall is about 12min walking distance or 2min driving distance away. Both Paraparaumu College and Kāpiti College are an easy 10min drive, and there are buses that service the schools from the train station.
The house is a 1960's, 4 bedroom, weatherboard home with carport and double garage. It is built on a rise and therefore gets all day sun. It was recently redecorated - the floors were polished, the walls and ceilings painted in light, neutral colours and Luxaflex blinds installed. There is a fireplace, a built-in burglar and smoke alarm, and a DVS system which means that it is an exceptionally dry and healthy place to live.
The garden is very low-maintenance, needing just minor weeding and lawn-mowing to keep it in order. Weeds need spraying once every few months. There is one lemon tree which needs 'feeding' about once a year.
This house is a wonderful place to live. It would suit a professional couple or a small family who want to be able to walk their children to school in the mornings without crossing any major roads. The house is not appropriate for dogs but cats are okay.
