This grass-roofed log home is tucked away in the private gardens of one of Nelson's heritage homes. There are two separate studios, the other one is located on the ground floor of the main house. Description of both will follow below.

The Cottage $ 475 p.w.
Since the April advert there is someone living there, someone who's quite happy with the place. We kept it 'on offer' since the tenant's partner is abroad still and we'd like her to have a say as well before they commit for several months.
There is underfloor heating in the cottage and a small log burner. The latter mainly for cosiness since this two level open living space is well insulated. Double glazed tinted glass doors en windows open up to a deck overlooking a pond. Bed room area (one queen and a single Japanese futon) are a few steps up.
The Villa Studio: $ 450 p.w.
Situated on the ground floor level of the main house. It is spacious, open plan and has its own private entrance and terrace. It's colourful and light. See pictures above from the little glass mascot onwards.
All water on the property is filtered. Fruits and greens are organically grown and for shared used. There is enough space to also set up your own patch.Electricity is metered for both places and when usage stays within reasonable bounds it's included in the weekly rates as are water and wifi. The Villa Studio is available from early July onwards. The cottage would most likely be from early August, if at all. A minimum of two to four months is what we would prefer.
