Flat is fully self-contained: your own bathroom, kitchen/laundry, living room. Note: This is a shared house, so electricity is paid fortnightly and split equally between both flats... approx $60/week ($120/fortnight) each in peak winter. Free fibre internet/wifi. 7 minute drive to central Hutt, 8 minute walk to train stations (Naenae and Epuni), 2x bus stops directly outside.

A few things to bear in mind:
Available short term, 3 to 6 months. Term is flexible so might suit if you're selling a house or between flats.
Only one week's bond required.
Must be ok with occasional renovation noise ( between 10am to 6pm).
The house is on Oxford Terrace which can get busy and noisy in terms of traffic and trains (bedroom is set back from the street, though).
It is an older house made in the 1940s and this flat is in the south east corner of house so does get cold in winter months (although nice and cool on hot days). Has a basic ventilation system and comes with a desiccant dehumidifier to help control damp in colder months. Windows have 3M insulation and roof insulation has been topped up. Has underfloor insulation. Heaters are electric (no heat-pump: main living room is less than 2.3Kw heating requirement).

Ideally looking for:
1 person or a couple; responsible and tidy, not too loud.

About me:
I work part-time in a professional job/part-time as a handyman and live in the other flat in the same house, (which I'm renovating on behalf of Landlord). Respectful of your privacy, and do not enter the flat unless in emergencies and pre-arranged maintenance.
