You can accept a pre tenancy application by following the steps below:

Step 1: Go to your chosen Listing through your dashboard

Step 2: Select Enquiries and Applications

Step 3: Click on the Enquiry that contains the application that you want to accept

Step 4: Select Accept application under the What would you like to do with this application? section

Your prospective tenant or tenants will be notified that their application has been accepted. They are also advised that the acceptance is conditional upon favourable tenant checks, should the landlord wish to perform them.

You can invite tenants for one of our Tenant checks under the same What would you like to do with this application? section.

You can find out more about our tenant checks here: https://www.myrent.co.nz/tenant-checks

If you would like to update all other people who enquiries and applied to rent your property that the house has gone "under offer", please go to the Listing Dashboard and select "Mark as Under Offer" at the top of the page. This will automatically send notifications to all tenants in your inbox (whose enquiries have not been declined, archived or accpepted). Marking the property as "under offer" will give you a chance to concentrate on finalising tenants checks and preparing tenancy paperwork with selected tenants but to continue advertising your property and collect enquiries in case the offer falls through.
