What does UNDER OFFER mean?

Updating to Under offer lets landlords concentrate on the new tenancy paperwork but just in case tenants don't pass referencing or the tenancy falls through we continue to collect enquires.

When should I mark my listing as UNDER OFFER?

As soon as you have verbally agreed with tenants that they can take the place but before you have started the background checks and paperwork.

What happens to my listing?

Your listing remains on Trade Me, realestate.co.nz, OneRoof, Homes.co.nz, Facebook and myRent so you do not need to pay again to re-list and so we can continue to collect enquires in case your new tenants don't pass referencing or the tenancy falls through.

What happens if a tenant enquires?

We let the tenants know the place is under offer and let them know that we will update them if the offer falls through. If this happens just update the status of your listing to available and we will email you all the enquiries we have on hold and let the tenants know the place is available again. You can see all the enquiries including those on hold in your dashboard.

Why would I not just mark it as RENTED?

If you mark the listing as rented and the tenancy falls through then you will need to pay to re-market the property, this is because we will need to pay Trade Me, realestate.co.nz, OneRoof, Trovit and Homes.co.nz for new listings. We advise you to mark listings as rented only once you have signed the tenancy agreement and collected the move in monies.
