Signing up on myRent is easy and takes less than 5mins. The process is completed online and there is no lock in contract so you can cancel at anytime.

For landlords

Signing up is easy, our website will walk you through a simple set of steps to collect the details we need to set up your account and tenancy. For most users, this takes less than 5mins.

What we will need from you:

  • The property address
  • Your details (name, email, phone, address)
  • The details of the tenancy (start date, rent details etc)
  • Rent collection option you would like to choose - DIY or Hand-Free
  • Your bank details for payment of rent
  • And your tenant(s) details (name, email, phone, address)

Once you have completed the landlord onboarding process we will make contact with your tenant(s) and help them complete their onboarding.

Next, we will take you to your dashboard. If it’s a new tenancy we can help create a new tenancy agreement and fill out bond lodgement forms.

Once your tenants accepted your invitation to join the tenancy and created myRent account, you will see scheduled rental payments. You will be notified when tenants e-sign tenancy documents and bond lodgement forms.

In your dashboard you can also see the status of rent payments, any maintenance issues, be reminded of renewals, access all the paperwork for the tenancy, record property expenses, talk to your tenants and generally keep track of all details of the tenancy.

During the tenancy, we will also send you notifications of important events happening during the tenancy such as rental payment, maintenance requests, inspection due dates and renewal reminders and options. These notifications will take you back to your dashboard so you can stay fully informed and have control of your tenancy.

For tenants

You will receive an invite from myRent to signup once your landlord has set up the tenancy.

What we will need from you:

  • Confirm your details (name, address, phone, email)
  • Confirm the details of the tenancy (start date, rent, bond etc)
  • Your default rent payment method

If your tenancy is new or being renewed and the landlord is using myRent to prepare documents like the tenancy agreement, condition report or bond lodgement then these will be available when you log in through the app for you to review and e-sign.

After onboarding, you will be taken to your dashboard where you can do things like view rent payments, change your rent payment method, lodge maintenance issues, talk to your landlord, submit termination notices and access tenancy documents.

During the tenancy, we will send you reminders when your rent is due, and any other events such as updates on maintenance requests and renewals.
